JR Direct loses a loved one.

All JR Direct was saddened in the first days of January 2010 to learn of the sudden death of Chris Hansen.

Chris Hansen was a dedicated employee holding the position of Data Processing Services Lead.   He had been with the company for 10 years.  Chris was a client service oriented individual who was well respected by the Data Processing Services clients he worked with.  This sense of service spilled over to office situations where he was always there when another set of hands were needed to move a piece of equipment or carry some heavy supplies for storage.  His strong sense of community was also felt in his support of the company United Way Campaign  as well as participation in the annual Food Bank drive. 

Chris's unique laugh, penchant for the unusual (Burning Man third year participant), New Year's Day Polar Bear swims, and music trivia expertise will be fondly remembered at JR Direct special occasions.

We will miss you Chris.

JR Direct will be supporting the family’s memorial service plans.  Anyone wishing to make a donation towards Chris’s Memorial Service can do so by writing a cheque to JR Direct.
