Strategic Planning 2010!

Once again, JR Direct utilized our strategic planning day to get down to details, and get down and dirty. 

Every year the JR Direct team gets together to discuss past accomplishments, address current challenges, and lay plans for the coming year.  It is an exciting time for the company as the teams put together creative and fun presentations to share their plans with the entire company.

The remainder of the day has always been reserved for team building activities, giving the staff the opportunity to work together in a completely different capacity facing unique challenges.  This year, the team got together at Earthwise Garden and Farm to provide some much welcomed volunteer help.   Our tasks included planting new vegetables, preparing signage for an upcoming farming day, harvesting vegetables, and perhaps most rewarding, we were tasked with reclaiming a large section of land that was overgrown and strewn with debris to be used as a fertile planting ground.  The team worked quite hard in transforming a large unusable area into a useable area with new plants planted by the team.

All in all it was a job well done and a day well spent.
